Susumu Shingu will transform Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art into a spaceship with his 17 sculptures of which most of them are new works. SPACESHIP - Susumu Shingu landed at Nagasaki Prefectural Art Museum from June to July and then traveled to Yokosuka Museum of Art from November to December in 2016.
Its last landing spot in Japan is Kobe near Sanda where the artist lives and works. Let's board on the SPACESHIP, in which the new three sculptures are added, and explore the universe with the captain Shingu.
“Among all the planets, our truly unique Earth, where we enjoy so many different colors and varying degrees of light and sound, exists in the endlessly expanding Cosmos. This is where I was born and I consider it nothing short of a miracle.”
