The full-size prototype of windmill for Breathing Earth was installed at the southern tip of Shioashiya Beach, Minami Ashiya Hama, Hyogo as a wind power generation experiment by Ashikaga University in cooperation with the Hyogo Prefectural Enterprise Agency on November 24.
From November 25 to March 28, 2010, it (height 8m, rotating diameter 7m) was installed on the site, and data was collected on March 28, 2010 on the final day.

German documentary film director, Thomas Riedelsheimer is making the feature film for the project of Breathing Earth. This time he came to Japan to shoot the windmill prototype. The film was filmed in September 2011 and will be released to the theater in the spring of 2012.
